Lidda’awati Wal Jihad, otherwise known as Boko Haram has claimed responsibility
for the bombing of three churches that claimed about 50 lives and scores
injured in the northern cities of Zaria and Kaduna on Sunday. Thanking Allah
for giving them victory in carrying out their task.
The sect spokesperson, Abu Qaqa in a statement said the multiple attacks was a reprisal of Christians’ past killings of Muslims and vandalism of Mosques in Zonkwa, Yelwan Shendam, Tafawa Balewa, where they said Mosques were turned into brothels and drinking joints, while Christians continue to carry on with impunity and government support.
The however affirmed that for peace to reign, Christians must all convert to Islam.
In the statement, it reads, “today (Sunday) Almighty Allah has given us victory against Christian Churches in Kaduna and Zaria which led to the deaths of many Christians and security operatives.”
The statement also claimed that Almighty Allah has tasked all Muslims in Quran chapter 9 v 29 to launch attack against Jews and Christians who refused to believe in him, his messenger, Prophet Mohammed.The radical sect also affirmed that attacks against Christian children and women would continue, since security personnel now attack their women and children.

Blame Legal Immigrants Like Me for Taking Your American Jobs
I am probably the only immigrant
willing to admit that we are to blame for America's high unemployment. But it
is not undocumented immigrants like the ones whose children President Barack
Obama said he's not going to deport who are taking your jobs away. Believe me,
you don't want the jobs those immigrants do. It's legal immigrants like me you
should be blaming for your plight.
Soon after I arrived from Kenya nearly 20 years ago, I began to
work in the kind of jobs you'd expect a new immigrant to take. I scrubbed pots
and pans, floors, and toilets at various restaurants. I stocked supermarket
shelves. I guarded buildings and parking structures. And I scrubbed pots and
pans, floors and toilets again.
Unsatisfied, I registered with a temporary staffing agency in California's Silicon Valley. Because I had no experience, the only jobs they could give me lasted between a couple of weeks and three months. But they all added up and gave me the experience I needed, and before long, I had a one-year contract assembling computer hard drives at IBM. My next job was at Applied Materials, one of the largest corporations in Silicon Valley.
Instead of bussing tables and driving hotel shuttles, dealing with irrational customers who thought that just because I spoke with an accent I was an idiot, I was driving forklifts, taking warehouse inventory, using computers, and attending daily meetings. I was getting paid overtime. I was living the American dream. But shortly after, a series of unfortunate things began to happen to make me question my understanding of what the American dream was.
It began with my first layoff from Applied Materials, after one year on the job. Fortunately, the economy picked up fast and they called me within a few months. During my second stint I climbed up the ranks to become a supervisor. Life was good. Seeing no need to go to college, I dropped out.
But then 9/11 happened.
Two months later, I was jobless again. A few months after, they called me back again, this time through the same temporary staffing agency that had opened my door to Silicon Valley. When in 2003 they told me that they'd be letting me go a third time, I knew there had to be a better way.
I could have applied for another warehouse job elsewhere like most of my American coworkers, but I was tired of being kicked around. Instead, I decided to take a hard look at my life. I began by asking myself why I had come to America. If all I ever wanted to be was an unskilled laborer, did I really have to leave Kenya?
I came to America to get something no one in my family had ever had: a college degree. Anything less would have been unacceptable. I returned to college, got my bachelor's degree, and later went to graduate school.
My story is not unique. That is the path many immigrants take. The ultimate goal of many of them -- even those who are undocumented -- is to earn a degree from an American college.
We refuse to accept that a life spent in an unskilled job is a lifetime in the American dream. To us, such jobs are launching pads to greater things -- transit vehicles to the American dream. Even when we come to America in our 30s and 40s, we are not afraid to enroll in college, or to acquire some form of formal training. Tell us that you won't recognize the degrees we acquired in our countries of origin and we'll start college afresh. Because of this spirit, we are lawyers, professors, doctors, scientists, inventors, nurses, teachers, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
You remind us every day that this is the land of opportunity. You wave your flag and tell us that this is the best country in the world.
We agree.
It's about time you started believing in what you tell us about America. Instead of demonizing the defenseless guys breaking their back to get food to your supermarkets, demand that legal immigrants like me give you back your jobs. But to get them, you must work as hard as we have to qualify for these jobs.
It's a shame that many Americans think that what makes America great is the fact that one needs not have a college degree -- that the dream is to sit back and demand that some government bureaucrat create a job for you.
Talk about handouts!
We immigrants are often shocked when we learn that a majority of Americans have never been to a college classroom. That needs to change, if this is country is to remain great.
The choice is yours: You can work as hard as we immigrants have, and take maximum advantage of this country's abundant educational opportunity, or you can take the easy way out and continue to moan about undocumented immigrants. (They aren't going anywhere, so there is plenty of time for you to use them as scapegoats).
You can start by demanding that your government invest more in your children's education, and less in foreign wars -- many of which have created the unbearable conditions that have forced us to flee to America to take your jobs. Until then, we'll continue utilizing the wonderful educational institutions your hard-earned tax dollars have built and continue taking your jobs.

SERIKALI imeanza uchunguzi wenye lengo la kubaini kama maofisa wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa walifuata taratibu kutoa Hazina Sh3.5 bilioni zilizotengwa kwa ajili ya safari za Rais Jakaya Kikwete ndani na nje ya nchi.
Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimatifa, Bernard Membe alisema jana kuwa fedha zinazochunguzwa ni zile zilitolewa kati ya Machi Mosi na Machi 8, mwaka huu kwa ajili ya safari za Rais Kikwete kwenda Geneva, Brazil, Adis Ababa na Arusha.
Wiki iliyopita gazeti moja la kila wiki liliripoti kuwa maofisa watano wa wizara hiyo wamesimamishwa kazi kwa tuhuma za kuiba fedha zilizotengwa kwa ajili ya safari za rais kutoka benki moja nchini.
Fedha zilizotolewa kutoka Hazina ni Sh 3.5 bilioni wakati zilizokuwa zimepangwa kwa safari hizo ni Sh2 bilioni.Fedha hizo zinadaiwa kutolewa Hazina na maofisa waliokuwa wakikaimu nafasi mbalimbali, katika wizara hiyo.
Waziri Membe alisema wakati tukio hilo likitokea, yeye, naibu wake, Katibu Mkuu, Naibu Katibu Mkuu na Mhasibu Mkuu walikuwa safarini na kwamba nafasi zao zilikuwa zinakaimiwa.“Waliokuwa wanakaimu wali-process (andaa) fedha za safari pamoja na hazina, na fedha zikapatikana tarehe 8,” alisema Membe na kuongeza kuwa;
“Ofisa Masuhuri hakushirikishwa na uchunguzi wa kamati unaendelea ili kujiridhisha kama taratibu zote za kiutawala zilifuatwa,” alisema.
Alifafanua kwamba tayari walifanya uchunguzi uliohusisha Mkaguzi Mkuu wa Ndani, Taasisi ya Kuzuia na Kupambana na Rushwa (Takukuru), Usalama wa Taifa na wakaguzi wawili kutoka wizarani hapo.“Hakuna tuliyemshuku ama kumuita mwizi kwa sababu hakuna hata fedha iliyoibwa, zote ziliingia kwenye akaunti ya wizara na nyingine zililetwa wizarani,” alisema.
Waziri huyo alisema uchunguzi wa kamati unaoendelea, sasa unalenga kuangalia kama taratibu zilifuatwa na wale waliokuwa wanakaimu.“Uchunguzi wa kamati utakapokamilika na kubainika makosa yalikuwa wapi utawekwa hadharani,” aliahidi.
Utabiri wake Chadema
Akizungumzia taarifa za kuitabiria Chadema ushindi mwaka 2015, Membe aliwatuhumu watu aliowaita maadui wake kisiasa ndani ya Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), akisema wameshiriki kumlisha maneno ya kukitabaria ushindi chama hicho kikuu cha upinzani katika uchaguzi mkuu wa mwaka 2015.
"Kuna taarifa za mimi kutabiria ushindi Chadema 2015. Naomba niseme kitu kimoja, kama kuna mtu anajua mimi niliwahi kufanya utabiri ajitokeze. Mimi siyo TB Joshua wa Nigeria, mtoto wa marehemu Shehe Yahaya au (jina la kampuni moja ya kimataifa)...ambao wao kila mara ndiyo hufanya utabiri," alisema Membe huku akionekana kuchukizwa na taarifa hizo.
Membe alifafanua kwamba, ni kweli alikutana na ujumbe wa Chadema nyumbani kwake jimbo la Mtama, mkoani Lindi na kufanya nao mazungumzo, lakini hakuwahi kutabiri kwamba chama hicho kikuu cha upinzani kingeweza kushinda mwaka 2015.
"Nikweli nilifanya mazungumzo na Chadema walipokuja jimboni kwangu Mtama. Tena walikuja bahati nzuri walikuta chakula cha mchana tayari, nikawakaribisha vizuri. Wapinzani si maadui, yaani watu walitaka niwafukuze chakula. Najua kuna watu hawakufurahia kuwaalika Chadema kuja kwangu," alisema Membe na kuongeza;
"Ni kweli niliongea nao. Niliongea nao mambo matatu, kwanza niliwapongeza kwa kujipenyeza hadi vijijini. Niliwaambia, ni vema mmetambua umuhimu wa kufika hadi vijijini maana mwaka 2010 mlilalamika kuibiwa kura wakati vijijini mlikuwa hamjafika. Lakini pia, nikawambia ni vema wametambua umuhimu wa kuanza kufanya siasa kwa kujenga hoja na tatu, nikawambia nyie fikeni vijijini sisi kina Membe hatujaanza kutimua vumbi."
Alifafanua kwamba, anaamini watu wa Chadema waliokuwapo katika mkutano huo ambao ni pamoja na Dk Slaa na Lema hawawezi kuzusha taarifa hizo zilizotolewa na kuongeza, "Nimesoma vizuri Political Science, adui wa kisiasa katika chama siku zote yumo ndani ya chama hicho. Kwa hiyo hata hili naamini limetoka kwa baadhi ya maadui ndani ya CCM na kwa Chadema ni maadui wa Chadema."
Kuhusu APRM
Katika hatua nyingine, Membe alisema taarifa ya Tanzania kuhusu utekelezaji wa Mpango wa Kujitathmini wa Umoja wa Afrika (APRM), itajadiliwa mwakani nchini Addis Ababa.
Licha ya waziri huyo kukiri kwamba Tanzania inadaiwa dola za Marekani 800,000 za ada, alisema hiyo si sababu ya taarifa ya Tanzania kutojadiliwa mwaka huu kama ilivyotarajiwa.
Rais Kikwete alitarajiwa kuwasilisha ripoti ya Tanzania kwenye mkutano wa Wakuu wa Nchi za Umoja wa Afrika (AU), utakaofanyika Lilongwe, Malawi Julai 10 mwaka huu, lakini haitafanyika hivyo.
Wiki iliyopita gazeti hili liliripoti kuwa Rais Kikwete amezuiwa kuwasilisha taarifa ya Tanzania kutokana na deni hilo.
“Walitakiwa wajadili taarifa ile halafu walete maswali tujibu ndipo wataandaa taarifa ikajadiliwe,” alisema Membe na kuongeza;
“Watu wa APRM hawajaja, hivyo itajadiliwa katika mkutano wa Addis Ababa mwaka 2013,” alisema.
Tanzania inadaiwa dola za Marekani 800,000 deni ambalo ni malimbikizo ya ada ya dola 100,000 kila mwaka, kwa miaka minane mfululilizo tangu mwaka 2005.
“Mara kwa mara tumekuwa tukiwakumbusha Hazina kuhusu deni hili na si kwamba ndilo limezuia,” alisema.

In an early morning chaos in the university today, some former militants stormed the school causing a free for all fight between rival gangs.
This has led to pandemonium in the school. It was reported that some policemen stationed at the school could not take control of the situations which has degenerated to a worse scenario.
In an early morning chaos in the university today, some former militants stormed the school causing a free for all fight between rival gangs.
This has led to pandemonium in the school. It was reported that some policemen stationed at the school could not take control of the situations which has degenerated to a worse scenario.

which has been declared by many as a publicity stunt for the artiste whose

Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy,
has declared that he is gay.
Those who know Charly Boy well however say he’s not someone who

ready to take his rightful leadership position in the gay world.

Nigerian to openly come out and even establish a church that catered for only
gay people.
Those who know Charly Boy well

position in the gay world. In an interview with a new publication, Danfo Express, Charly Boy declared that he is gay and
not ashamed of being gay.
Even as he made other
disclosures about himself, he didn’t forget to add that he is the head of the
Illuminati in Nigeria, the same Illuminati that people accuse Jay-Z, D’Banj and
Don Jazzy of being members and they keep denying membership. While his
audacious revelations might seem like a publicity stunt on his part, let’s not
forget the popular saying ‘there’s no smoke with-out fire’. For Charly Boy to
say all these things about himself there must be an element of truth in them.

not only did he impose himself on other judges, Yinka Davies and the American,
Jeffrey Daniels, he was always going with a skull to the show and once even
went with a huge snake that scared the audience.

Last evening
Freemasons in Tanzania celebrated in Dar es Salaam 100 years of Freemasonry in
East Africa at a gala banquet in a city hotel at which the Guests of Honour is
expected to be President Mkapa and the First Lady. On that occasion Freemasons
will donate 25 tricycles, mattresses, mosquito nets to orphanages and to a blind
school.
Freemasons
are helping many welfare causes in different parts of the country. Among them
are the Kindwitwi Leprosy Centre in Utete; Mother Theresa Home for the
Children, School for the Blind in Pongwe in Tanga Region; Orphanage and Leprosy
Projects in Arusha; Montessori School in Mwanza; Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in
Zanzibar; Missionaries of Charity and Buguruni School for the Deaf are all
beneficiaries of our organization.
Freemasons
have built a class room at Kinondoni Primary School, treated over 100 visually
impaired patients in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar and provided artificial limbs
to a large number of patients and in 1996 they donated £15,000/- for the
victims of MV Bukoba disaster.
They are
presently paying for the education expenses of the children of the victims of
American Embassy bombing and have promised to do so untl they complete their
high school education. It is the only organization supporting these victims.

writers, came to East Africa in 1904 with the first meeting facility based in
Zanzibar.
It was
introduced in Tanzania in 1904 and over the years the visitors included
President Theodore Roosevelt, His Royal Highness, The Duke of Windsor; His
Royal Highness, the Duke of York who later became King George VI; His Royal
Highness, The Duke of Connaught and Stratheam; the Rt Hon Lord Cornwallis; the
Rt Hon Lord Swansea and the Rt Ho, The Earl of Eglington and Winton who were
all Freemasons.
Their
membership list runs like the world Who’s Who. His Royal Highness, Prince
Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, 14 American Presidents, amongst whom were
Presidents George Washington, both the Roosevelts; Truman, Gerald Ford, George
Bush, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.
Ten
Australian Prime Ministers, 35 US Supreme Court Justices members, Generals
Colin Powell and MacArthur. Other Freemansons include world leaders like Cecil
Rhodes, Olof Palme, Ted Kennedy, Francois Mitterand, Napoleon Bonaparte,
Winston Churchill, Willy Brandt, Robert McNamara, Edger Hoover and Tony Blair.
Others were
religious leaders like Swami Vivekananda, former Archbishop of Canterbury Most
Reverend Geoffrey Fisher, and Jesse Jackson, business leaders such as Fords,
Rothschilds and the Rockefellers and Richard Wagner, Mozart, Shakespeare,
Rudyard Kipling and Alexander Fleming. Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on
the Moon was a freemason.
The present
Head of English Freemasonry is His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent a cousin of
Queen Elizabeth II and about 3,000 Freemasons in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and
the Seychelles are headed by Sir Jayantilal Chande, a Tanzanian, who has been
the leader of Freemasonry in East Africa for the past 18 years. The
headquarters of this body established with the approval of the Registrar of
Societies is located on Nyerere Road, Nairobi.
All
Freemasons, drawn from different faiths are encouraged to believe in God as the
Supreme Creator and they are exhorted to be law-abiding and faithful citizens.
They should continuously work towards development of their spiritual and moral
values and ethical standard.
Freemasonry
the oldest fraternal organization, with the possible exception of Boys

Movement, is the largest in the world. Globally, about half a million
Freemasons annually contribute about US$400 million to worthy causes.
